Different Colour of Olives
There are many different colours of olive. When I went to research this I was expecting to find the green and black olive and maybe a purpley olive but there are many different shades of olives. There is the olive is a yellowish green colour. It looks like it is an unripe or can just be called a green olive. The olive drab is a dull olive-green colour. This is a sort of brown colour with a bit of green. Due to its brown colour the olive was used to dye the colour of the US's army uniform in World War II. Then there is the olive called the Olive green. This is greener than the olive or the olive drab but it is less green than the dark olive. I know this all seems awfully confusing there are so many different shades of green!!! There is the black olive and this is personally my favourite one to eat. I think it has the nicest flavour and it isn't too strong ! .
